In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top five news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Guatemala showed varied trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced different patterns in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $724 in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of around 7.5K in early February. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at 644K and reaching over 782K mid-March.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a steady download rate, with a slight peak of 339 in late February. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 11K and ending the quarter at approximately 9.6K.

Dailyhunt - News & Magazines experienced a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a high of 209 in late February. Active users started at 31K and ended at about 27.7K, showing a downward trend throughout the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App had fluctuating downloads, with a peak of 181 at the start of the quarter and another rise to 152 by the end of March. Active users increased slightly from 21.4K to nearly 24K over the quarter.
